PETITIONER’S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
FOR FILING BRIEF ON JURISDICTION
The petitioner, Jeffrey Epstein, respectfully requests an extension until January
19, 2016 for filing his initial brief on jurisdiction and states:
1. On December 10, 2015, the petitioner’s notice to invoke the discretionary
jurisdiction of this Court was timely filed in the Fourth District in Case No. 4D14-
2282.
2. The undersigned counsel for the petitioner needs the additional time
requested herein to meet several prior deadlines (including a merits brief in this
Court) and to complete the research for and writing of the petitioner’s jurisdictional

discretionary jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Florida to review the decision of
this Court rendered November 12, 2015. The decision is within the discretionary
jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Florida because it expressly and directly
conflicts with a decision of another district court of appeal or the supreme court on
the same question oflaw and certifies conflict with Wolfe v. Foreman, 128 So. 3d 67
(Fla. 3d DCA 2013).
